Like, no offence, but you're, what, 18 (looking at your age on the profile page so idk) and you're acting so serious over one romance? Seriously, that sort of thing at that age isn't a big deal :/ I mean, most teenage romances don't last.

but ya know, hopeless romantics(such as myself) hope that it would last. and some people put SO much into it that it's very crushing when it doesnt work out.

That's one reason; when you're a teen it's highly unlikely, I'd think, that you would fully understand all there is to such a serious relationship-most people just seem to have relationships for "fun" or something. Another is, why take a "romance" so seriously at such a point in your life? It's a time when most people aren't prepared for the future, and to, for example, consider your relationship so right that you may marry this person or have kids with them.. Well, when you're a teenager, without a proper job or something, is that a smart option? :/ Personally, I just don't see the point in teenage romances, particularly "serious" ones

And all that may well be true for some people, but holy sweeping generalization, Batman! Not all people are like each other. The world is not a homogeneous lump, after all-- everyone is going to have a different experience in love and relationships.

All that aside: no matter what age you are at, if you are in a serious relationship (no matter the age (unless you're like, eleven. That's just ridiculous)), it is going to hurt like a bitch if the other person breaks it off.

well saying you'd have someones kids doesnt mean you'll meet up, fuck each other, and just pop out a kid in nine months. i was like that, to an extent, when i was 19. still that way now at 21. not everyone dives head first into that stuff without examining if they're jumping into a pool filled with water or a tiny glass of water. some people stay together as boyfriend and girlfriend until they get situated in a home or finish college or something like that. not all teenagers just dive in without weighing it.
